THE
FAST TRACK HOME PAGE
It's taken six long years, but The Fast
Track is about to return to the airwaves, right where it belongs.
Beginning Sat., Feb. 1, The Fast Track radio show will be back on the air,
eminating from FOX Sports 1340, New Mexico.
The show will be sponsored by SunRay Park and Casino in Farmington, New
Mexico, and will also receive sponsorship deals with several area
businesses.
The show will be produced LIVE from the Fox Sports 1340 studios and hosted
by Steve Bortstein. The show will be produced LIVE from SunRay Park when its
live meet kicks off in August.
The show will not be available on the world wide web right away, but could
be available there very soon. The show will air weekend mornings from 8-9
(Mountain).
The format of the show will be much like the original, which was started at
Fox Sports 1150, Los Angeles, and its successor, which aired for several
years on the Internet at Racing On The Net. We will be talking about races
from all over the country, and we will be answering calls and e-mails about
racing during the program.
I am looking forward to bringing back the old team, which would include Marc
Platt, Bruce Finkelstein and Warren Eves. In addition, I am hopeful we will
be able to add on some new faces to the radio show, including old friends
and colleagues like Jarrod Horak, Mike Tanner and Tim Turrell. I will be in
contact with all these people in the coming weeks.
Also, I am working with a syndication company out of Chicago, which may be
able to send our show to various outlets around the country as early as this
summer.
Stay tuned, as this is all very fluid and could be the start of something
very big, once again.
In the meantime, make sure to check out our website: www.foxsports1340.com
Cordially,
Steve Bortstein
